Place Your Bets For Super Bowl XLI (I Think...)

And yes, we still have Pro Football to talk about. Today was parade day for the fans of the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers, but many fans across the nation are looking ahead in hopes that it will be their hometown celebrating next year.

And then we have the gamblers who are just waiting for the next big bet, and the MGM Mirage Casino in Las Vegas is happy to oblige. The casino has already listed the Indianapolis Colts as next year's favorite to win next year's Super Bowl XLI (which I hope makes 41). The bookmakers are giving the colts 4-1 odds. The Seattle Seahawks are the favorite in the NFC at 5-1. Same odds go to the New England Patriots, winners of three of the past five Super Bowls, at 5-1. As for the champion Steelers, they and the Carolina Panthers are both listed at 6-1.
